Hello, Oscar,
I would like the bathtub tray to be fixed in such a way that it cannot slide back or front. The supports of the tray on the tub should be provided with fleece to avoid damage to the tub wall. I would like to vary the height of the shelf as in the sketch I drew. Maximum however on 15cm downward. A tablet / laptop (14 inches) should be placed on the shelf if possible. A holder for a juice glass would be great. So that this doesn't fall over at a small vibration. Putting down a wine glass would also be great but is not a must. The tray should also have a place for a small rolled towel and a small bowl for nibbles and possibly 1 to 2 shampoos.
Hello Steven. Thank you for your feedback. I will design the bathtub board with the specifications you have provided and share the sketches with you. I would also suggest that instead of fleece, rubber could be used. It would perform the dual functions of avoiding damage to the tub wall and preventing it from sliding back and forth. What do you think?

Hello, the board would be made out of cedar wood. The handles will be made out of metal and the rubber will be placed on the part of the board in contact with the bathtub. I have provided a breakdown of costs of making the bathtub board.

What dimensions did you have in mind for the board and what division?
Does the wood still get a varnish or glaze? It should match the bathtub and be modern and, above all, durable.

Hello Steven. I have provided a sketch of the board. The woard will have a width of 25cm and will be 12cm deep. The wood will be varnished to protect it. It will have a deep brown mahogany finish.

Hello, it's looking good. But I wanted to let the board in the bathtub a bit. Since the tub wall is quite high, I would like this board in the height is adjustable. Furthermore, I would like to have a border around the board, so that possible billets or even liquids do not get into the tub when they fall down. Could you also provide a small board on which I can put a tablet if I don't want to use a laptop? So the board should be removable again.
If the holders for juice glass or shampoo no longer work due to the height adjustment, could you choose a thicker wood and mill in these edgings?
I am aware that this will surely be a bit more expensive than your estimated price 😉
Hello Steven. Unfortunately I am unable to come up with a design that will have an adjustable height and still be durable. If this is an important feature of the bathtub board, I am sorry that I would have to decline your request.

Hi, I would also be happy with a fixed depth of 7cm. So that no adjustment in height or depth is required any more. For the juice holder and shampoo holder I would like to have a solution that does not go further into the depth. Thus possibly a milled hollow for the juice glass / shampoo. The only important thing is that the laptop has the comfortable height 🙂
Another idea would be to make the snack bowl as a hollow so that I don't have to put an extra bowl on it anymore.
The border of the board would also not be a must if it would destroy the appearance of the beautiful plate.

Hi, we'd like to have the board a little wider. See picture. Furthermore, we would like to have the adjustments drawn in. It would be important to us that the bowl, shampoo holder and juice holder are rounded. This is better to clean and also optically it looks better. We would also like to have rounded off all other corners.that would be optically important. Could you make a sketch again and possibly focus on the rounds?

Hi, that looks great. We measured the tub again and also on the basis of the enclosed sketch your measurements were not correct. So please change the 91cm to 77cm, please also consider that we have adapted the division of the dimensions. The lateral safety, which we had entered afterwards, we would now remove again. We would also remove a shell, since we now have the board shorter. We have described the shells once with the inner diameter. We have also added a picture where you can see the colour and structure of the bathroom furniture. Could you try to reproduce this as well as possible on the board?
It would be great if you could adjust the price again based on the changes, since we are now coming with shorter.
Then everything should fit and we can place the order.
Please try to inquire quietly after the assignment if you are uncertain. 🙂

The board needs to have rounded corners and circular holders for the juice glass and shampoo, and the cost associated with achieving this would result in a loss for me if I were to continue pursuing this project with the available budget. If possible, I would kindly request for an additional 40 euros to facilitate the completion of the project. However, if this is not possible then I would suggest that another craftsperson be selected to complete the project.

Hello,
i do not understand the dimensions of you right now. I took the measurements again from the bathtub. Since this bathtub is oval, we have no parallel sides. Since we would like to have the board slightly recessed in the tub, since the tub is relatively deep.
The laptop which is used there is 34cm wide and 24cm deep. We can also use the 15cm shelf for towel and shampoo holders. But I would like to keep the dimensions as they are in the drawing I uploaded again.
I have also included the scale drawing of the tub.
The glass holder should have an inner diameter of 8 cm and a height of 7 to 8 cm.
With the shampoo holder would also be a bowl possible that we put the shampoo inside (possibly use the 15cm shelf)
If a towel holder was possible, we could also make a slit in the 15cm shelf where we could hang the towel.
The tub is a free-standing tub.

Hi, now I stand your pictures, it seems from the picture the dimensions are not yet correct, so I have added another picture. I asked for the measurements of one of them, based on your picture. As I said the measurements are very important, if they don't fit I can't use the board.
The wooden sides which I marked with a text, we don't need, so you can take them off again.
The deep one to the back of the board seems to be optically correct, could you tell me again which one it is now?

Hello,
this looks good already, please remember the rubber coating on the sides. If possible, maybe even around the corner, so that we avoid scratching the bathtub. Since it is an environment with very high humidity, please take this into account when painting / sealing.

I have now photographed the board once and added the appropriate measurements.
The division can stay as it is, only the length has to be changed.
Maybe you could choose a thinner wood, so that it doesn't get even heavier.
It is important to me, as I have already written several times, that this board can get water off. So it is important that the corners have no slits (picture with question mark attached).
