Hello Bernarde

I'd like to make an offer for your idea. Kindly let me know the following :

- what material would you prefer for this tray? The one with best quality is mahogany which is a bit pricy but we can always use another wood like pine and have it stained with mahogany which might be cheaper on your end. Please advice what you'd like.

-what is the thickness of the outer wall of the tray (I would recommend 5mm)

-would you like to have any compartments on this tray?

-what is the height/ depth of the tray, from your end? I only have your length and width but no height. This is important so that it fits perfectly in your drawer. Please advice

-what would you recommend to be done on the finishing for your tray? Varnish, wax or oil?

Regards,
Georgina.

Hello, Georgina,

the height is 11.5 cm. If possible, subdivision for spoon, fork and knife lengthwise and possibly small subdivision crosswise for teaspoon. It doesn't have to be expensive wood. Oil or wax would be good for refinement.

Georgina Sande (29. October 2019)

Hello Bernard,
Yes I am able to construct the cutlery holder of 11.5 cm. with the subdivisions requested out of pine with Oil or wax finish.

Please make it.

Georgina Sande (7. November 2019)

Hello Beanrd,
I hope you are well.
I made a sample of the tray as per your request and realised the compartments aren't functional. Kindly, please have a look at the sample I came up with. I would suggest we have three verticle compartments instead of four as per the sketch I made that way it is more practical for use. Please let me know if you are amenable to this so I may begin working on it and get it to you as soon as possible.

I would like to make a change: instead of the transverse subdivision, please only the three longitudinal subdivisions for cutlery. So just leave out the transverse subdivision. If that works, I'll take the offer.

Georgina Sande (11. November 2019)

Great! I shall begin working on it immediately.

Hello, Georgina,
please send me a new, modified sketch, with only three horizontal subdivisions, none vertical. So far the old sketch was always sent with four subdivisions, which is not ok.
Subsequently the order can be placed

Georgina Sande (15. November 2019)

Hello Benard,

Attached please find the modified sketch, with only three horizontal subdivisions as requested.

Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Georgina.
