Hello, I would like to have a cutlery tray with the following dimensions: 200 mm wide, 450 mm deep, 5 mm high – with four compartments. The material should be sustainable wood.
If it’s also possible with hemp, it’s very welcome.

Hello, Elizabeth,
this is the old plastic cutlery tray with 5 compartments. The new one can look like this. Since plastic is more flexible than wood in terms of mobility, I think that 5 mm (length and width) should be subtracted from the indicated dimensions: Length 445 mm, width 195 mm, height remains unchanged 50mm, are external dimensions. Good morning. I am working on the tray. Per the measurements, if we stick strictly with your inner measurements the inner spaces will be very small. The thickness of the wood is 1.5cm. We can get the two 8cm demarcation but we will be left will about 23cm for the longer side instead of the 28cm. And also dividing the other side by 3 will make it extremely small so may advice we stick to two. I have sent attachments to explain this please. I will be on standby for feedback. Thank you.

Good morning,
the way it looks right now, it's not fit for my purposes. Knife, fork and big spoon are 22 cm long: I need three compartments. These must be 24 cm long, so that the cutlery fits in with some clearance. The small spoons are only 15 cm long, so even there with some leeway a length of 17 cm is enough, one or two compartments of it. Good luck.
