I have read through your briefs and noted your ideas.
First I need to know the shade of brown leather you would prefer. We have rich brown (chesnut brown) as attached in one of the images, then there is a dark brown (mocca brown) also attached. Kindly let me know what is your preference.

The second thing is the fabric I have brown West African print handmade fabric that we can use, or we can do Africa colorful kitenge fabric.
The other proposal is we can have a small details fish leather or brown cow hide.

For the coin pocket we can do the press button as per your proposal or we can use a zip whichever you prefer.
