The idea from Jochen Baumeister from Berlin:
The story of the piece of art that conveys the values of our company:
Attached is a sketch of the idea, I might have an artisan inside the map of Africa and the *happy client part inside a globe. My execution of the idea might change on the canvas during the creating process but the concept will pretty much remain the same on UCL's mission. I'm planning to incorporate the use of color in abstract form and a bit of spontaneous realism (as the attached sample)
How is size 20' by 30' ?
Your suggestion to incorporate abstract form and a bit of spontaneous realism I find super. The style of your earlier work I find very good. I understand your concept, it is comprehensible. It would be nice if you could incorporate the emotional component of our approach in the concrete execution. The viewer may be quiet something challenged in the interpretation.
I am flexible about the size, 20' (50cm) by 30' (70cm) would fit. I would already have a place for it. With the big one, however, upright.
Thank you for your response.
Yes I will definitely have the emotional approach to it in mind during the process.
Agreed size 50cm by 70cm. If I may ask, depending on the available place/space you have for it do I work on it in portrait form or landscape?
Excited for the project:)
super. Portrait format would be perfect.
Sounds great. I'm ready to get to the studio.
Hope you've been well.
I'm 30% done . Sorry Its taking longer than I thought It would.
So far so good , I'm enjoying studio time.
I am curious about the next steps. But you can't see the 30% on the photo yet 😉
I can't wait to see the final product as well.
So far so good.
Loving and enjoying the studio time.
I always believe if I have fun with the project then I will create something good :).
Thank you for your patience.
Hi Siralie, I would love to see some photos from the progress.
Please see attached photos.
Hello Serali, thank you very much for the pictures. It looks like you are deviating from your initial design or will the elements mentioned there still be incorporated? What I liked was that the initial design visualizes what we are doing. Many greetings Jochen
Sorry for late reply.
Yes the elements mentioned will still be incorporated.
The piece will look completely different from how it looks during the process when finished.
sorry for the late reply. Well then I am curious how it goes on.
Apologies for a late revert.
I finished working on the piece.
I have uploaded videos and a few photos.
Looking forward to hear from you.
I am really impressed by your presentation. The embrace of the artwork, the energy between artist and client. It feels very fitting! Thank you so much for your work.
