- Final result: Brian Ng'aru completed the desk in cypress wood with a white painted structure and drawers, while keeping the top unpainted so the burnt art could be added clearly and finished with protective varnish.
- Design details: The desk combined a glossy white base with a plain wood top, curved legs, and a custom pyrography inscription reading “Urban Jua Group,” creating a contrast between crisp painted surfaces and warm natural timber.

I love the design for the table, I would also like some calligraphy (burnt art) with the words Urban Jua Group on the top part of the table.I have sent a photo of something similar. Is it possible to have burnt art on painted wood?
Hello Victoria,
It is possible to have the burnt art on plain wood but not on painted wood since one would be burning the paint which will interfere with the outcome of the pyrography. I would suggest that we paint the rest of the table white and leave the top. To merge the design with the drawers, we could paint the frame and leave the drawer front side unpainted.
The unpainted wood will have a clear varnish finishing.

Hello Victoria, so far I have been able to prepare the different pieces for the project, I have made some adjustment to the design, we will paint all the drawers white all round and leave the desk top with plain wood so that everything below the desk is white.
I have managed to curve the legs and like the outcome.
I have also completed doing the pyrography artwork on the desk top
What remains is cutting everything to size and joining them then they can be painted. I have attached updates of the progress and process
