The Bespoke Beaded Backpack for 13-Inch Laptop showed how Stella Gikonyo turned an idea for a compact statement bag into a soft leather backpack with extra decoration and everyday function. It is a useful example for anyone considering a custom laptop backpack with beadwork, lining choices and a more personal finish than a standard work bag.
- Request: The project began as a not-too-big backpack for carrying a 13-inch laptop, with a bold pink look and decorative details that would make it feel playful as well as practical.
- Final result: The finished piece was made in a raspberry-pink suede leather with a padded interior sized to suit a 13-inch laptop, plus added beadwork for a more expressive handmade look.
- Design details: The final design used a colorful kikoy fabric lining, beading on the flap, extra beaded zipper pullers and additional decorative accents to create a richer finish without relying on printed graphics.
- Fit and use: This backpack was designed for daily carry, combining a compact profile with enough structure and padding to protect a small laptop while still working as a distinctive personal bag.

Leather Color: Please clarify if you need a hot-pink bag with sections of white and black. Would you have an image to demonstrate your idea?
Design: Please check the attachment for design and let us know if its okay with you & feel free to share your preferred design. Please don't mind the beads we will not add them.
Embellishment: Cartoon images on leather will be a challenge to add. The technology to create prints on leather is only available on mass production & is still not very dependable.
