This Custom Wooden Cutlery Drawer Inserts Set was made for three different kitchen drawers, with each insert planned to match the drawer size and the intended cutlery layout. Ziadi Nsabimana completed a set that shows how custom wooden drawer organizers can help make awkward or non-standard drawer sizes more practical.
- Request: The project called for a set of three fitted wooden cutlery inserts for different drawer sizes, including one larger square insert and two narrower formats, all with specific compartment layouts for sorting utensils.
- Final result: The finished set included three custom wooden drawer inserts made to fit the confirmed outer dimensions, with compartment dividers arranged to match the approved layout for everyday kitchen use.
- Design details: The inserts were built in wood with multiple fixed sections for separating different types of cutlery and kitchen tools. The inside depth was confirmed at about 6 cm, with an outer box height of about 7 cm.
- Fit and use: This is a useful example for homes that need cutlery organizers for non-standard drawers, especially when standard trays waste space or do not match the way utensils need to be stored.
- Process: Progress photos and a video of the finished work were shared during making, the dimensions were checked before shipping, and the final feedback confirmed that the customer was very happy with the completed cutlery boxes.
