Custom Set of 3 Kitchen Shelf Inserts 33×25×7 cm

This project created a custom set of 3 kitchen shelf inserts 33×25×7 cm for storing jars neatly inside a kitchen shelf. Caleb Nyakaba made the inserts in wood with a simple open layout, making this a useful example for anyone planning made-to-measure kitchen storage without internal dividers.

• Request: Three matching wooden shelf inserts were requested in the same general style as an earlier kitchen organization project, each with external dimensions of 33 × 25 × 7 cm and handle openings at the front and back.
• Final result: The finished set consisted of three custom kitchen inserts sized for shelf use and left open inside so jars could be stored and lifted out easily.
• Design details: The design focused on clean rectangular forms, practical grab openings, and a plain interior without partitions, which made the inserts flexible for different jar sizes and everyday pantry items.
• Process: During making, the wood was allowed extra drying time before assembly so the finished pieces would be more stable, and progress photos were shared as the work reached its final stage.
