These Custom Drumstick-Style Wooden Chopsticks were made by Trezah Nabwire Luganji for regular dining use, combining the look of miniature drumsticks with the function of everyday chopsticks. The finished pair is a useful example for anyone considering custom wooden chopsticks with a playful themed shape, natural wood finish, and comfortable handling.

  • Request: A slim pair of wooden chopsticks in a light natural wood tone, with one end shaped like a drumstick head and the other end tapered for picking up food.
  • Final result: The completed set measured 25 cm and followed the approved shape closely, with a slightly rounded thicker top, a pointed eating end, and a smooth balanced feel in the hand.
  • Design details: The wood was kept natural in color, without varnish or synthetic coating, and the surface was finished cleanly with no splinters, cracks, or rough patches.
  • Fit and use: Although the top end had a drumstick-inspired profile, the chopsticks still worked well for everyday eating and kept the slim proportions expected from standard chopsticks.
  • Process: A quality review confirmed accurate 25 cm sizing, clean shaping, even finishing, and the customer later shared that they were thrilled with the final piece.

A request by Nina from Madrid, Spanien

I would like wooden chopsticks that look like drumsticks. The chopsticks should have a relatively natural color, i.e. the typical light shade of wood. They should be about the same size as normal chopsticks, i.e. around 22 to 25 centimeters long and slim. They should be shaped like drumsticks at one end, i.e. slightly rounded and somewhat thicker, while the other end should be pointed and suitable for gripping food. The surface should be sanded smooth and the wood should be free of varnish or eye-catching decorations so that it retains its natural look.

Hi Nina,
Thanks for your detailed idea—it’s clear you know exactly what you want. I can definitely create chopsticks with a natural wood look and shape one end to resemble a drumstick, keeping the other end suitable for eating.

Also, will these chopsticks be used daily or mainly as a gift or for display? Using helps me decide on the best finishing process—if you'll use them often, I’d suggest a gentle food-safe oil finish to help keep the wood in good shape while keeping that natural feel, even though you mentioned no varnish.

Let me know your thoughts, and I’ll start working out some options for you.

Nina (8. November 2025)

Hi Trezah, they should already be used regularly for eating. (Automatic translation)

Hello Nina, so far that's where we are, I have one set that's 25.5cm with a slightly bigger head and 25.00cm with a small head.
Would you kindly be free to choose from the two sets and let me know where you want some adjustments.

Nina (11. November 2025)

Could you make me an offer how much it would be to get both of them? And add the name “Yordi” as an engraving? (Automatische Übersetzung)

Trezah Nabwire Luganji (11. November 2025)

Victoria Achieng Odhiambo (19. November 2025)

Hello Nina,

This is Vicky, the local operations manager. I’ve completed the quality review of the custom wooden chopsticks, and overall, Triza has done a really great job with the craftsmanship. Each chopstick measures exactly 25.00 cm, and the dimensions match the approved sketches closely. The slim profile and the slightly thicker, rounded drumstick-style end have been shaped very well and align with the design you approved.

The material is natural, light-shaded wood as agreed, with no varnish or synthetic coatings. The chopsticks feel comfortable and well-balanced in the hand, and the pointed end functions perfectly for gripping food. The drumstick-style end does not affect usability.

The finishing is clean and smooth throughout. There are no splinters, rough patches, cracks, or uneven areas, and both ends transition nicely without sharp edges. The overall color is uniform and aesthetically pleasing.

However, I did notice that the “Yordi” engraving that was originally discussed is not included on this set. Everything else about the chopsticks has been executed beautifully, but the engraving is missing. Could you please let me know whether you are okay with the chopsticks as they are, or if you would like the engraving added before finalizing the order?

Once we have your preference, we will proceed accordingly.

Warmest regards,
Vicky Achieng.

All fine as it is. (Automatic translation)
