The idea from Martin from Brixen (BZ):
I like the wax-print bomber jacket I saw on your website. I want the same for my wife, also made by Nyambura Irungu. I can send you her measurements in another post. I will send the fabric I like best at the next opportunity.
Thank you,
Martin Thaler

BIs when could I expect to get the jacket?
I understand if I haven't received it yet for Christmas,
perhaps ain photo goes out that I can show then?
Many thanks and greetings, Martin
I would like to clarify on something before I start working on it. What colour of the rib material (The one used on the wrist, neck and waist) do you prefer? Black, red or blue?
and please don't worry about it. I'll work on it as fast as possible, you will probably have the bomber jacket before Christmas.
Phelesia, hi,
thank you for asking.
I can't see it so clearly, but it seems to me in the fabric pattern there is also black in it?
If so, happy to use black for the rib fabric.
If you have a dark blue that matches the exact tone in the fabric, happy to use that.
Before Christmas is great, thanks.
HG Martin
I'll buy all the materials tomorrow and start working on it.
Hi, just one more thing:
With the length of the jacket, there I did not know how to measure it.
Therefore, a hint that is probably sufficient:
My wife is 1,81 m tall.
Thanks and greetings
Would say fitting.
Production phase
Phelesia, hi,
thank you very much for the photos.
The jacket looks really great!
I especially like how you joined the fabrics together on the front, continuing the line.
Looking forward to being able to give them away.
Thank you very much, also that it went so fast!
Best regards, Martin
Thanks for the business, please feel free to order another one again.
Thank you, and happy holidays!

Thank you very much and happy holidays!
I hope you are well and thank you once again for the order you made.
At the time you made the order I wasn't in a position to attend to you as quickly as was needed.
Also, please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to you as I was looking for the same fabric to make a replacement jacket but it is currently out of stock.
I have however attached an option that is slightly similar as well as others to look through, should the similar one not work
for you.
Once you make your choice, I'll work on getting it to you at the soonest.
My apologies once again and thank you for your patience.
Best Regards,
Nyambura.
Hello Nyambura,
thank you for your message.
Do you perhaps still have the fabric I had picked out quite originally?
It is red and turquoise and I think it was one of your fabrics.
The file is called: Screenshot_20191008-140042_1-1.jpg
Many thanks and greetings, Martin
You are very welcome.
Sadly, that was a print that was available in 2019 and isn't in the shops any more.
My apologies for having to put you through the selecting process again.
I've added two more options that you could have a look through and share your thoughts.
Also, perhaps you could share your design preferences in terms of shapes and color schemes to guide my search for prints that will appeal to you.
Best Regards,
Nyambura.
Hello Nyambura,

Best regards, Martin
I'm happy to you like it.
Thanks again for your order.
Best Regards,
Nyambura.
Thank you Nyambura,
best regards, Martin
My sincere apologies for the fitting if the jacket and thank you for your patience and taking the pictures to relay the fitting.
In order to avoid another blunder, may I kindly request you to take measurements of a jacket or hoodie that fits her well so that I use those measurements instead of the body meaaurements in this chat.
I had added 2.5 inches of allowance from the measurements given and it still wasnt enough.
Please see the attached image named Bomber Measure Guide for how to measure.
Also, if you could send measurements of a shirt that fits you well, I would be happy to make you a complimentary shirt with accents from the bomber jacket fabric, for your trouble.
Many Thanks,
Nyambura.
Nyambura, hi,
here finally hopefully usable measurements:
Shoulder 37, Christ 52, waist ok, sleeve length 65,
Front length 58
Leeves too tight
So the most important thing would be that the sleeves are long enough and not too tight anymore,
and that there is more space at the shoulder.
Thank you very much for the shirt offer, do you mean a men's shirt?
Many thanks and greetings,
Martin
Thanks again for the measurements. They'll be of great help.
You're very welcome for the shirt, and yes, I mean a men's shirt.
When you send the shirt measurements please also send the bicep measurement for the bomber jacket. .
Many Thanks,
Nyambura.
Nyambura, hi,
my wife's biceps has a circumference of 28 cm.
The sleeve can be freely like wider.
Here are the measurements of one of my shirts:
Basically, I wear slim XL.
The collar size is 41.
The length in the back is from the collar to the lowest hem 80 cm
The shoulder line is 16 cm from the collar to the base of the sleeve respectively
The sleeve itself is then 65 cm long.
Is this information sufficient?
Many thanks and greetings,
Martin
Thanks for the measurements. They are okay to work with.
Many Thanks,
Nyambura
Thank you, looking forward to the result.
Sincerely, Martin
Many Thanks,
Nyambura
Perfect, thank you
I hope you are well.
So far, the bomber jacket is ready and now working on the shirt.
Thank you once again,
Nyambura.

Many Thanks,
Nyambura.
All right, thank you.
See you soon.
Sorry I had a bit of trouble accessing net.
Please see the final attached photos of the jacket and shirt with added allowance just to be safe and let me know what you think.
Many Thanks again for your order!
Nyambura.
