A virtual trip to another continent… And if you want to go to Kenya anyway, just pick up your bag at your tailor (but we also deliver everywhere with DHL).

The realization, a journey
First, your tailor clarifies all questions with you. During the production, you get a direct insight via videos and photos and you coordinate.
Pick up by yourself or have it delivered
Hali Oduor did not receive her bag via DHL as planned, but picked it up herself in Nairobi from Claudia Kimani at the end of her virtual journey. Both options provide surprising insights.
The urban change lab experience is a unique one. As the client I was able to design my bag and be a part of the process hand in hand with the artisan. The whole experience and having my idea realized intrigued me and I wanted to meet Claudia, the artisan behind the bag. The Urban Change Lab has a great concept going and I enjoyed my experience with them.
