Dear Esther,
thank you very much for your questions.
Please have a look to my drawing again: We need to distinguish between outer and inner measures! The main measures of 480 and 303 are outer measures. These measures should be rather exact. They could be 1 mm or so smaller but not larger because the whole application has to fit into my kitchen drawer.
The outer height of the assembly should be approximately 50 mm.
All other measures are inner measures of the different partitions. 240 mm and 220 mm should be minimum measures so that my spoons and forks fit into these partitions.
The measures of 3 times 67 mm and 3 times 83 mm are "circa" measures (approximate). The exact measures depend on how thick the inner and outer "walls" will be.
I did also put some explaining comments onto your design sketch.
